Get into good speed-reading habits with Spree

Doron Zehavi's Spree claims you can start reading faster today. It makes it a snap submitting content to Spree and get it loaded as Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (Spritz method) which reduces the cost of readers' eye movements and, in consequence, allows them to read more words per minute. Launching Spree is as easy as copying a piece of content to your clipboard and pasting it to Spree or hitting the share button while reading an article and select Spree. You can even load epub stored on your device (this is an experimental feature).

The strongest point of Spree is probably its ease of use. You can easily adjust the speed (WPM) from a scrollable bar, see the amount of words that made up the piece of text you want to read and also get the time it will take to read it. In addition, you can customize its appearance: things such as font size, background color, text alignment and word chunks. Some of this feature are only available on the paid version.

There's room for improvement: needs better support regarding both file formats and 3rd party apps.

Start speed reading today! Read faster than you have ever read

Spree helps you read your content faster by removing the need to

move your eyes while reading. Just add your text, hit done and

press 'Read'!

Spree is a Speed Reader tool that utilizes RSVP

technology to help you read faster! From wikipedia:
"A presentation method called Rapid Serial Visual Presentation

(RSVP) was developed to diminish the resource cost of readers'

eye movements. RSVP is a method of displaying information

(generally text or images) in which the text is displayed word-

by-word in a fixed focal position. This may be used to increase

reading rate or provide access to long text on small displays."

Spree is great for:
Testing how fast you are able to read by adjusting WPM on the

fly. Read up to 1000 WPM!
Helps focus because you are forced to pay attention or risk not

reading words.
Helps you read faster because you do not need to move your eyes

to read.
