Description

Control your music and calls with gestures using your phones sensor.

THE VERDICT

Wave Control is about as good as gesture control apps get. It has a good explanation on how to use it, and lots of set up options. However like all gesture control apps, it just doesn't work all that well - the little light sensor on your phone requires you to get your hand far to close to register waves properly.

THE PROS

As gesture control apps go, this one is good, It has a great explanation on how to use it, and plenty of set up and customization options.

THE CONS

Because of the way the app works, using your phones light sensor, it just doesn't work very well. It's far to finicky, to the point where it would be much faster to just unlock your phone and hit play.

Player Compatibility List:
Any Music/Streaming/Video app that supports "Headset Controls"

Easy to use, just wave your hand over the sensor (usually located just next to the earpiece on your phone).
Holding it there (hover) - Pause/Resume
One wave across - Next Song
Two waves across - Previous Song
Three times - Enable/Disable the controls

*Be sure to enable Headset Button Control in your player of choice

Some Notes:
Tip for the hover gesture: if you move your hand away too quickly it'll register a wave
After an action, there is a 1 second delay before another gesture will be registered
Practice your wave techniques by checking the "Last Action"
If you're getting another player responding to the commands, use the Set Target Media App setting
